The iconic Pink House sits on a bluff overlooking Nantucket Harbor – facing west over the bay towards Great Point for beautiful sunsets. 

The Pink House was once owned by prominent patron of the arts Helen Lytle Hull, whose first husband was William Vincent Astor, son of John Jacob Astor. Mrs Hull occupied the Pink House as her summer residence until 1976.

The Pink House is located on the bayside beach, with direct access from the house via a boardwalk through the beachgrass; it is also only a ten-minute stroll to the oceanside.  The living room overlooks the bay and Coatue across the water.  The dining room has a round oak dining table (seating 8) and French doors to the patio.  The kitchen opens to the dining area, just off a powder room and a large utility room with laundry.  The primary bedroom wing includes, on the first floor, large dual dressing areas and an oversized shower, and on the second floor a bedroom (Queen) with balcony overlooking the harbor.   The second bedroom (King) and third bedroom (Twins), located on the first floor, each has a full bath and shower and a door leading to the front yard. There is a separate outbuilding (attached to a 2-car garage) with a fourth bedroom (Twins) and bath (shower).  The front entrance and kitchen windows overlook a beautiful flower garden that is tended all summer.
