49th Nantucket Daffodil Festival April 24-27, 2025

The Nantucket Chamber has announced the 49th annual Nantucket Daffodil Festival. The highly anticipated event includes the always popular classic-car parade and Sconset tailgate picnic, Daffodil Flower Show and Daffy Events held at Children's Beach.

The report highlights significant factors including how a US$84 trillion intergenerational wealth transfer may affect the real estate market, where 135,000 high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) are projected to relocate, and the profound impact of “Best Places to Live” rankings on a city’s property values and inventory levels.

Overall, 2024 was another remarkable year for Nantucket real estate, marking the fourth-highest year on record in dollar volume. It was also the first time since 2021 that sales and dollar volume surpassed the previous year, giving plenty of reasons to celebrate. The Steamship Authority has announced their opening dates for summer auto reservations. Beginning Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 8:00 a.m to February 3, 2025, reservations for travel with an automobile to Nantucket from May 13, 2025, through October 21, 2025 may be made via the internet.
